AquaTerra x Sally’s Roti x Chef Craig Wong

SUCCULENT SEAFOOD. NATURAL & OLD WORLD WINES. CARIBBEAN MEETS ASIAN SOUL FOOD.

Caribbean meets Asian soul food for one night only, as Chef Craig Wong, the creative talent behind Toronto’s hugely popular Jamaican-Chinese Patois and the newly opened Bar Mignonette, will join AquaTerra’s Chef Brent McAllister where the two will pay homage to the themes of Wong’s two restaurants in a vibrant 5-course menu.

THE MENU

Natural wines, both local and international, creative cocktails and local beer will be served alongside.

Beverages curated by: Daft Brewing, Brix + Mortar Wine Co., & AquaTerra’s Mixologists.

THE DETAILS

The evening starts with a delicate seafood platter paired with a natural wine (Bar Mignonette style) and then segues into a boisterous selection of upbeat dishes as Kingston’s most beloved Trinidadian roti shop Sally’s Roti Shop provides her dhalphourie roti for a Malaysian Chicken Curry course paired alongside a rum punch cocktail and local Daft Beer. Then it’s on to some of Patois restaurant’s greatest hits, like Halibut Run Down in a Banana Leaf and Prosperity Jerk Lobster.

Local Kingston Chef Sally of Sally’s Roti will join this mix of talent.

A live DJ will provide music for this exceptional not-to-be-missed event.
